Since 1995 it has also provided advice to former Ministers on their employment in the two years after leaving office. The committee is chaired by Lord Lang. In March 2010, the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments revealed that Tony Blair was involved in business consulting to an oil firm with interests in Iraq.
